Cancellation Policy
At Isle of Souls, our retreats are intentionally small, with a maximum of eight guests. Because each place is reserved exclusively for you, late cancellations can have a significant impact on the viability of a retreat. We therefore recommend that you read this policy carefully before booking and consider taking out appropriate travel insurance.
If You Need to Cancel
If you need to cancel your booking, please let us know as soon as possible.
More than 8 weeks before the retreat
You will receive a full refund, less a £50 administration fee.
Between 4 and 8 weeks before the retreat
You will receive a 50% refund of your retreat fee.
Less than 4 weeks before the retreat
Unfortunately, refunds cannot normally be offered, as it is often difficult to fill a place at short notice.
If we are able to fill your place from our waiting list or through a new booking, we will refund your retreat fee, less the £50 administration fee.
Transferring Your Booking
If you are unable to attend, please contact us as soon as possible.
Where circumstances allow, we will do our best to help. If a place is available on a future Isle of Souls retreat, we may offer you the opportunity to transfer your booking instead of cancelling it.
Alternatively, with our agreement, you may transfer your booking to another person, provided they complete the booking process and accept our Booking Terms & Conditions.
If We Have to Cancel
In the unlikely event that Isle of Souls has to cancel a retreat, you will receive a full refund of all monies paid.
We cannot accept responsibility for any travel, accommodation or other costs that you may have incurred independently. For this reason, we strongly recommend arranging appropriate travel insurance.
Changes to the Programme
Occasionally it may be necessary to make minor changes to the programme, timetable or activities. These changes will not normally affect the overall experience of the retreat and do not entitle participants to a refund.
If a significant change becomes necessary before the retreat begins, we will contact you as soon as possible to explain the situation and discuss the available options.
Travel Disruption
Guests are responsible for making their own travel arrangements to and from Arran.
Ferry services to Arran can occasionally be affected by weather, technical issues or other circumstances beyond anyone’s control. If your travel is disrupted, our normal cancellation terms will apply. We therefore strongly recommend that you take out appropriate travel insurance to cover travel delays or cancellations.
Exceptional Circumstances
We understand that unforeseen events can sometimes prevent you from attending.
While we cannot guarantee refunds outside this policy, we will always consider individual circumstances with care, fairness and understanding. Where circumstances allow, we will do our best to help you transfer your booking to a future retreat.
